Slept in this morning.   Dennis was glad I wasn't up at the crack of dawn!   Decided to go the St. Louis Anheuser-Busch Brewery since it was only a couple of miles down the road.   Got there early and signed up for the 11:30 "free" tour.   So we killed an hour by looking around the visitors center and gift shop.

There was hardly anybody there when we first got there, but by the time of the tour it was mobbed!!   Went to see the famous Clydesdales first.   Also got to see the paddocks and some of the wagons they pull.   They really are beautiful!!  With the weather looking a little "iffy" we thought we'd cut the tour short since we'd already seen a brewery.

                                                                   The stables.

On the way back home we stopped at Ted Drewe's Frozen Custard stand on Historic Rt. 66.   Best frozen custard I've ever had!!!   Was yummy!!   Dennis resisted, but I don't know how.

By then the sky was getting dark, so back home we went.   Reeled in the awnings just before a little rain started.  Nothing severe, thank goodness.    Fixed a little lunch and just took it easy this afternoon.

Went out for a walk around 3:00.   Looked up in the sky and saw what we thought was rain or a water spout in the woods not far from us.   The only thing was the water was going up at one point and down in a spray.   Couldn't quite figure out what it was.   Finally the lady from the office came out when she saw us looking and said it was a park with a geyser that goes off at certain times of day.   So close to 6:00 we hopped in the car and went to find the park.   Sure enough, at 6:00 the geyser started.   What an amazing sight.   Is supposed to be a complement to the Arch which is directly across the Mississippi River.   Huge pumps send the geyser in the air as high as the Arch - 600+ feet.   A rainbow appeared when the sun hit it.   Was absolutely beautiful!!!!!   Not many people were there which is a shame.   It's a privately funded park created by Malcolm W. Martin, and kept up very well.

                                                         The spray created a rainbow.
 How neat is that??

The left over spray when the geyser was shutting down still created the rainbow.

Then back home to fix pork chops on the grill.   The rain cleared up and it's an awesome sunset.   Watching Virginia vs. Mississippi College Baseball.   Go Cav's!!   Later.....
