Up by 7:00 - was surprised after getting ready,  to a pancake breakfast fixed by my wonderful hubby!!   I am definitely getting spoiled!!!   After breakfast we hopped on the motorcycle for our days ride through the Black Hills.

   Deadwood, SD was our first stop. 

 

 

 While there went to the Mt. Moriah Cemetery where Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane are buried.   Thoroughly enjoyed that!! 

 

 

 

This guy was a 106 years old.

                                            Then ate lunch in Lead, SD at the Bumpin Buffalo.

 Yes, we're eating again!!

 

Great hamburgers if you're ever in the town.

 

    Went by the Gold Mine Visitors Center and saw the pit where they mined for gold up until 2002.

   From there we rode through the Spearfish Canyon over to Sturgis. 

 Not much going on there - stopped in some shops and gassed up for the ride home.

 

 

  Took the road through Vonacker Canyon to Nemo and back to Rapid City.   Whew!!

 Lots of hills and curves on this route back to Rapid City. I had to hold on so not many pictures.

 Had been gone all day - got home about 6:00. Its amazing how much the bike ride, the sun, and the wind can just exhaust you. It was a great ride but I feel like a cowboy who has been on a horse all day.  Had a little wine and cheese then leftovers for dinner.   Going to bed to rest up for tomorrows adventure!!!   Night, Night
