Well, it looks like our luck has run out with the weather. It started to rain during the night and looks like it will continue all day. We are headed north to Newport, Oregon and then east toward Portland. Saw a lot of little towns and wanted to go ride the dunes, but that is not going to happen today. Rain, rain, and more rain for the rest of the week so we will just stay on the road and head to Yellowstone.
A few pictures and some video but not much but traveling today.
It was very hard driving today with the rain and wind. Both of us are a little tired of the motion so we turn into a campground early today. Rested and fixed supper and went to bed early. Hopefully the rest will help the both of us and we can continue our adventures. We are so thankful for this opportunity and will treasure it for a lifetime. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite.

Woke up to rain again. But we got a good nights sleep, so we are ready for a days travel!! Hopped on I-84 east about 9:00 beside the beautiful Columbia River. Followed the river for miles and miles. The scenery was great, except for the rain!
Started climbing the mountains.
Watch out for those trucks!!
Snow fences.
Then, believe it or not, we ran into a little snow - yes snow, I know, it almost June!! I don't know how Dennis has done it, but he is just a driving machine!!!
What we thought was rain turned out to be snow!!!!!
Snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saw this at the rest stop, go cowboy and ride that bull.
We stopped for lunch and gas - that's about it until we decided to stay the night in Baker City, Oregon. Lucked into a nice campground, the Oregon Trails West RV Park.
Right at the foothills of some beautiful snow capped mountains. Founded in the 1870's, and is on the Oregon Trail.
Unhitched the car and took a drive into town. Neat place!. Found a little market and bought a few goodies. Then back home for spaghetti, salad & bread.
On the way back Dennis saw a car wash and tried to get some of the road dirt off the car.
When we got back I saw some Lilac bushes, so beautiful.
We'll be under the blankets tonight - supposed to go down in the 20's. Where's spring????? Until later.......
